CYBER DIPLOMACY OF INDONESIA TO UNITED STATE IN EFFORT TO RESOLVE CYBER THREATS IN 2014-2018

Backround of the Research

In my background I explain about the digital world, positive side,

negative, cyber crime in SBY's government along with cyber issues, cyber crime in Joko Widodo's government is higher than before and its issues, the real world impact, cyber law, security, and defense effective ways to handle with this threat, and last bilateral and multilateral cooperation is needed to support national policy by use of cyber diplomacy Indonesia

Research Question

in the formulation of this problem I use "how" to answer this research question, and the question is

How Indonesia diplomacy to the United Stated in resolve with cyber threat?

Objective of the Research

the purpose of this study is

1. Knowing the condition Indonesian in cyber

2. Knowing diplomati'c Indonesian

in an effort to resolve cyber with partner countries

3. Knowing the practice of cyber diplomacy by Indonesia to United States

4. To analyzing Indonesian cyber diplomacy to United States by looking at the level of succeses in combating cyber threats in Indonesia

Benefit of the Research

1. To find out about cyber space in prespective of international relation science

2. To find out organization in Indonesia to trengthen defense and cyber security

3. To find out what Indonesia diplomacy to handling cyber space issues

4. Knowing the cyber space phenomenon is evry important to study in science of international relations in perspective of national security

Literature Review

in previous research I take 1 book, 1 thesis, and 7 journals. all added to 9 previous studies relating to cyber security, cyber defense, cyber crime, cyber diplomacy, national security, and other

Theoretical Framework

I take 3 theories, that is:

1. Cyber diplomacy

2. National security

3. and cyber space (cyber security and cyber defense)

Hypothesis

My hypothesis is more about Indonesian cyber diplomacy with the United States

To find out several agreements relating to consultation on the development of cyber threats, development of management capabilities to overcome cyber threats, increase human resource capacity, strengthen technology in cyber security and defense, cooperate with America more comprehensively, track record of America more to impact and more effectively

Research Methodoly

1. I use qualitative methodology using descriptive

2. The object involves individuals, groups, countries

3. Data collection techniques are from books, journals, documents, articles, theses, newspapers, and the internet

4. and analysis techniques by way of explaining and analyzing data relating to with this topic

in the writing system I give 5 chapters that is

1. The first chapter contains an introduction

2. The second chapter explains the history, digital definitions and developments in cyber threats

3. The third chapter describes Indonesia's collaboration with several countries in dealing with cyber threats

4. This fifth chapter explains the practice of Indonesian cooperation with America to strengthen national policy

5. and the last chapter i explain the closing and conclusion
