Facts

Dear, Aspen

In the 1800’s our family immigrated from Czechoslovakia. The capital of this extremely long named country is Prague. Fun fact the language spoken in Czechoslovakia is Czech I never would have been able to tell. Czechoslovakia is a decently large country located in Europe, as stated by Richard Osborne at Britanica.com. If you would like to learn more about our historical country, read on.

Czechoslovakia came into existence in 1918. A few great leaders that took rule or made a difference are Charles IV and Princess Libuse said by A&E Television. Just a little fact is that Czechoslovakia is tied into world war two. The Nazis invaded the Czechs in order to gain more territory for the war. Finally Czechoslovakia was broken from the Hasbury Monarchy.

The geology of this country is very unique and exotic considering the entire country is surrounded with mountains with flats being in the middle of those mountains. A couple of major landmarks are Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, St.Vitus Cathedral, and Prague Astronomical Center according to Richard Osborne. A few major bodies of water include The Baltic Sea, and The Black Sea. Finally some major cities are Prague, Liberec, and Pilsen.

In Czechoslovakia most clothing was made from wool and spun linen. Czech music is the predecessor or most music. St .Wenceslas Day is one of their few native holidays credited by BBC News. Their most common religion is Catholicism. One of the most common cultural foods is roast pork with dumplings. The government was originally communism.

Here are some facts about economic resources in Czechoslovakia. The most commonly used natural resources for the Czechs was coal. The main manufacturers were lead mining companies such as Arcel or Mittel. No significant proportion of land is used. Some major occupations in Czechoslovakia are iron and steel production according to Darwin.bio. In the end, the type of currency in Czechoslovakia is Czech Koruna.

Here is a little sum up of what the annual weather is in the country. It is usually cold year around. According to History.com the average annual rainfall is 410mm. The average yearly Czech temperature is 64 degrees fahrenheit. Overall, there was a slight drought in 1961-2006.

Finally for the conclusion here are some travel tips and population facts. According to BBC.co the Czech republic population now is 15.6. The most common mode of transportation is by car. The story behind their flag is that the triangle is because they wanted it to be different from the polish, the blue from Moravia, and the red from Bohemia. In the end, here are a few native animals The Hare, and The Red Deer.

5th Hour

I had just gotten back from school. When I got home my dad said let’s go for a ride. We got in the car on the way to my grandmas house, we were going to hangout and say hi to my grandparents. When we got there we stayed, ate dinner, and had fun. I was sitting in the office watching Wheel Of Fortune with my grandpa when he said that my cousins old dirt bike was in the garage. I told him I would check it out before I left. We sat and watched Wheel Of Fortune until it was over, that's when my dad came in and said we needed to come home because I had school the next day. As we were walking out, I saw the dirt bike, (really worn down) and asked my dad if I could ride it before we left.

We pulled the old bike out and it wouldnt start. Me and my dad figured it must have been the gas so… we asked my grandpa for gas luckily he had the right type and filled up the bike. Once it was filled up my dad tried getting me to start it. First time turning the key there was no luck, second time turning the key the bike made a small rumble, then finally the third time turning the key the dirt bike rumbled to life it was ready to take for a spin. Once I got on it I knew I was going to have a fun time, I already had dirt bike experience from my old one at home. First I took the bike for a bunch of rounds between my grandparents and my aunts house. Then I started

from my old one at home. First I took the bike for a bunch of rounds between my grandparents and my aunts house. Then I started getting bored of that. I decided to go further I found this spot where a tree had burnt down into a ditch the tree was old and dilapidated so it was easy to get around. The tree was the least of my struggles to come. Eventually I even got bored of the tree so now I went back to the garage and went full speed over their land bump, bump, bump, boom.

The last thing I heard was “BONEHEAD”, and I was out. I woke up at the ER, my washington Primary Shirt now shredded to confetti. I touched my face, I was bleeding. My parents were both sitting in the corner wondering now why they have such a stupid son. I asked what had happened and they said i drove full speed with that dirt bike right into my uncles barb wire fence, no wonder I was bleeding. The doctors wrapped up and disinfected all of the cuts so I wouldn't get sick from them. I had deep cuts up my arms and across my belly, but worst of all i had bunched of deep cuts all over my chin. The doctors made me pee in a cup just in case i cut any organs they were checking for blood. Everything was a-ok i just wasn't able to go to school for a week or so, in that time I gladly played Mario Galaxy 2.

This Is Who You Are To Me

In my ocean, you are a sunken airplane

Because you are a relic, you are mysterious, and your origins are unknown

In my grassy field, you are a firefly

Because you light everything up, you are docile , and you are friendly

In my galaxy, you are a black hole

Because you suck up everything bad and make it go away

In my christmas ornament

You are the hook

Because you keep everything from crashing down

You are my world

My Hope

I hope

The end of every year will be followed by a new year

I hope

The weakest dog will find a strong dog

I hope

The fiercest storms will become weak

I hope

Every empty room will eventually have a bed

I hope

Gunfire in the distance is just pots and pans

I hope

When life passes it's not over

I hope

The angriest person will go away

I hope

The loneliest person will discover how to not be lonely

I hope

The most light hearted person in me will tell a better joke

I hope

For school to end

I hpe
