Importance of the Case

Importance

this case is important because it was solely solved by hair, demonstrating the importance of information left behind in traces of hair.. Hair left at a crime scene can confirm or deny whether a certain individual was there after the hair is analyzed. Which can only be done if a follicle is present and contains DNA. The innovations of technology today, made it possible for analysts to analyze the hair found at the crime scene to confirm that it did belong to their suspect Frank Wright.

Interest

Intrest

-This case is interesting because it is such an old case that after three decades it was finally solved. I also find it interesting that after all this time someone made it their priority to bring to closure to the case, and that the hair was still able to produce results.

-This case is a great example of how hair can be helpful in a case and that hair can be the determining factor in whether a case can be solved or not and that it can last for extended periods of time.
