what is an octet rule?
- The octet rule is a simple chemical rule of thumb.
- Octet rule atoms with 8 electrons in ther outer shell are stable.
- Atoms tend to combine, in such a way that they 8 electrons in their valence elctrons
- The nearest Noble Gas.
