Where the government is to facilitate cooperation between itself and the academic field, whose aim is to address:

•Establishment of verification techniques, mainly to address supply chain risks

•Developing methods that help local industries face threat

•Developing information exchange programs to easy identifying and analyzing electronic attacks using AI.

•The medium and long term technological trends into account, especially in AI, to strengthen security measures

Citizens:

•Educating citizens; resulting in self- and mutual help

•Universities and Research Institutes capacity building (seminars)

Government:

  • National and International security
  • cooperation between stakeholders
  • Critical infrastructure to be orotected by digital technology
  • Strengthening response capabilities (police) and criminal identification
  • Protecting citizens' personal information and intellectual property
  • Protecting the existent and new technologies (clouds, 5G, IoT)

Ensuring a Free Fair, and Secure cyberspace is Japan's ultimate aim.

•Promoting the rule of law: national security economic and technological expansion; international law is applicable in the cyberspace;

•Geopolitical tensions: China(stealing military info), Russia(achieve military/political aims) and North Korea(cyberattacks to obtain foreign currency or political aims), Japan-US deterrence to strengthen their capabilities

•Formulating rules for cyberspace: Japan's basic principles, collaboration to prohibit any harm,
