Family

The Brown family lives in a small house on a quiet street. There are four members of the family: Mom, Dad, John and Suzy. The family pet is a dog named Max. Here is a dialogue of a typical Saturday morning at the Brown’s house.

Mom : Good morning John and Suzy.

John : Good morning mommy.

Mom : What would you like for breakfast today?

John : I will have toast and juice.

Suzy : I would like some cereal.

After breakfast…

Mom : Why don’t you play in the garden?

Suzy : Okay!

John : Let’s play football.

Suzy : No, I don’t want to play football. I want to play on the swings.

Dad: Hi kids!

John : Hi dad. Do you want to play football with me?

Dad : Of course!

Mom : Where is Max? I can’t find him.

Dad : I think he is in the garage.

Suzy : He was in my bedroom when I got up.

John : I will go look for him.

A little while later…

John : Here he is. He was in the living room under the sofa.

Dad : Oh, silly dog!
