Gastropods are related to snails, slugs, and even shellfish!! Gastropods are also the largest group of living mullusks! They belong to the class of Gastropoda.

They are cold-blooded animals because they cannot control their own body temperature. They are not nocturnal.

A gastropod is a predetor to plankton but a prey to other animals like birds. They dont have hair fur of feathers their bodies are moist with only skin. A gastropod has an exo skeleton because of its shell. They lay eggs and usually only lay less than 200 eggs at a time.

The types of gastropods are conch,ablone,limpets,and whelks. Gastropods have soft moist bodies with hard shells. Gastropods thrive in Fresh water, the ocean,and on land!
