Entrza can really help and make moving more convenient to people who are in wheelchairs.Many people who are in wheelchairs struggle. So Entraza is kind of the like the app that locks doors, this app enables those who are disabled to open and close the door when they please with just a smartphone. Smart locks work because they connect to your houses Wi-Fi. But since it’s difficult to connect to Wi-Fi everywhere you go, and some places don’t have Wi-Fi, we are able to use Bluetooth to connect with the doors. Similar to smart locks, it will be possible to connect with Bluetooth to the door with your phone. My main target for these “smart doors” would be in common public places. Areas like Target, Walmart, Costco, the bank, and other common everyday places.

IN DFW alone, over 300,000 people have disabilities. And nearly a third of the population is in wheelchairs. Entraza is an app that can wirelessly connect to automatic doors and open them. Many wheelchair accessible doors and glitchy, slow, and don’t open for long enough.

My idea for the door app could help thousands of people in wheelchairs. The automatic doors that you see everywhere are often faulty and glitch very easily. My app would allow them to open and close the door on their agenda. Unlike most automatic doors where they close to quickly and sometimes pose as an annoyance or even a danger.
