Her wish came true but everything changes. She lost her best friend, she has a car she can't drive and her sister moved over 2,000 miles away.
Addie's neighbor gave her a magical wishing box, and of course she wishes. She wishes to be older.
To get her best friend Grace, back she joins every club Grace is in and shows her a place she can't say no to.
Then she gos on youtube and watches a driving tutorial.

It's Addie's 12th birthday and she wants to grow quicker than she can. Her neighbor realizes this, and gives her a magical box.
The next morning Addie woke up, she was a different age. When she arrives at school, she looks for Grace but can't find her or her classes. Grace and Addie finally have a class together and are assigned partners. Addie doesn't get paired with Grace, but the person next to her does, so they switch partners.
Addie has her annual birthday sleepover with her best friend, Grace. Sadly, they get in an arrgument. The next morning Addie goes over to Mrs.Toodles' house. Mrs. Toddles gives her a magic box for her birhday. Addie takes the magical box home and wishes to be older.
Addie and Grace go to Addie's house to work on their project. They see the Hideway and go inside. They see all of their old memories and become friends again. Addie finds the magical jewelery box and wishes to be younger. Younger Addie and Grace make up become best friends again.
I'd give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.
I would recommend this book to girls who wonder what it will be like to be in high school or who just want a little laugh.
The book is funny and well written.
