Bob R. Marley was a man of music, but he could not stand the racism against black people. He wasn't sure of a good idea. But later on he thought about protest songs. From his earliest songs he was popular in the Caribbean, and he thought about protest songs. Therefore, he made them. Lots of his fans listened to his songs, and agreed.

Where was he born?

Nine Mile is a district in Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, a few miles south of Brown's Town. On February 6, 1945 the Reggae musician and peace activist Bob Marley was born there, and later buried there.

Marley died on 11 May 1981 at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami (now University of Miami Hospital), aged 36. The spread of melanoma to his lungs and brain caused his death. His final words to his son Ziggy were "Money can't buy life."

Nicknamed “White Boy” Nesta Robert Marley was born on February 6, 1945, in St. Ann Parish, Jamaica. His father was a white British naval captain named Norval Sinclair Marley, who was nearly 60 at the time.

Bob Marley first Song ever recorded "Judge Not" in 1962. Bob Marley's first song was recorded and released in February 1962. Bob was only sixteen (16) years old. He approached producer Leslie Kong with some songs he had written, hoping Kong would record them for his Beverley's Records label.
