You need to know...

Advance Placement (AP) Scores

Computer Science Courses (Perimeter)

Physical Education (P.E.)

Requirement

College algebra or higher

  • If you have have completed an AP exam and scored a "3" or higher, you are eligible to exempt the introductory college course in most subjects.
  • The official scores must be sent directly from The College Board (Code: 5251).
  • Dual Enrollment students must email DualEnrollment@gsu.edu to be put on a waiting list.

  • Dual Enrollment students must receive approval by the Computer Science Dean; typically provided a week before the start of the semester.

  • Dual Enrollment students must be enrolled full time (12 college credits) in order to receive paid tuition for a P.E. course.
  • Part time students may take a P.E. course if receiving health credit at their participating high school.

  • All GSU students must meet the SAT/ACT Math minimum in order to register for College Algebra or above.
  • Students who do not meet the SAT/ACT Math minimum must take the Math Placement Exam.

  • Summer 2019: June 19, 2019

  • Fall 2019: October 15, 2019
  • Dual Enrollment students must maintain a cumulative GPA of a 2.0 at GSU.
  • Failure to meet this requirement will result in being removed from the Dual Enrollment program.
  • IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL Dual Enrollment students to consult with their high school counselor to withdraw from a college course.
  • The high school counselor must send an email approving the withdraw.

Textbook Policy

Each campus bookstore only carries books for that campus. Textbooks/Materials for online courses can be found at the Dunwoody, Clarkston, and Newton Campus Bookstores.

midpoint of each semester.

Return all textbooks/materials during the return period.

Parking Decal

All vehicles parking on campus must have a proper decal. Decals are MANDATORY for Dual Enrollment students. (Cost: $0)

3. Click purchase/obtain permits, renew MARTA Breeze Card, or Make Budget Card

4. Enter your GSU campus id and password

5. Select "add your vehicle information"

Payment Options

Dual Enrollment students are required to complete the funding application on www.gafutures.org prior to registering for classes.

Payment

  • Online:

Use PantherPay via PAWS: electronic check or credit card payments are accepted. Georgia State accepts MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards for student account payments. There is a 2.75% (or $3.00 minimum) convenience fee for paying with a credit card. There is no fee for paying with an electronic check.

  • In-person:

Make payment in-person at the University Cashier’s Office with cash, check or money order. Card payments are not accepted (credit or debit)

Dual Enrollment students are responsible for lab fees

Dual Enrollment students are not encourage to register for non-approved courses and will be financial

responsible for non-approved courses.
