  • Daniela was born in Mexico City, Mexico in August 26, 1990.
  • She is currently 31 years old.
  • When she was born her grandma owned a bakery which got her into cooking
  • She started cooking/baking at 3!!!

Achievements

  • In 2016 Daniela won the James Beard Award for Rising Star Chef of the Year
  • NY’s Restaurant of the Year in 2015
  • elit™ Vodka World's Best Female Chef Award at age 28

(which is the youngest age anyone has ever recieved this award.)

Resturant

  • Daniela owns 4 resturants Cosme, Atla and the LA duo.
  • The resturant Cosme her New York location. This location is rated really well and has even been on the Top 50 Resturants in NY.

  • Growing up she was always surrounded by cooking and was always watching the bakers in her grandmas bakery
  • Her family always supported her through out her career especially since her mother wanted to be a chef
  • Since she grew up arround cooking when she studied at a culinary school the teachers took her under their wing
