GENERAL
DESCRIPTION
The JCCF operates a top-down hierarchical structure similar to any regular military organization. This means, the upper level plans the programme for the entire country and successive levels build-out that plan for their local area.

There are two main divisions that operate within the JCCF's structure.
- The Senior Division (Adults)
- The Junior Division (Cadets)
The exist at all levels of the structure.
JAMAICA CADET COMMITTEE
JCC
- This is the peak of the organization's structure.
- Responsible for setting policies that governs the Force's operations including but not limited to the Code of Conduct and the promotion and appointment of senior officers.
- Governor-General is patron.

- This unit is responsible for the overall planning, supervision and support of all cadet activities across Jamaica.

REGIMENT
- The island (the Force) is divided into large sub-groups called Regiments. They are responsible for managing and supporting the cadet programme over a large geographical area.
- There are five regiments

BATTALION
There are several battalions within each Rgmnt. Each Bn is responsible for coordinating and supporting the execution of the Force's programme within this smaller are. Some Bns are restricted to just one parish while others overlap more than one parish.

- A Company is a group of units within a section of the Bn's geography. These units are usual close to each other.
- The Coy is manages & supports training and operations within its area.

PLATOON
- A platoon is a group of 30 troops. It is responsible for planning and executing the training of its men.
- A platoon is divided into three sections each containing 10 troops.
- Each section may be divided into two 5-man squads.
