Today, the students will read The Red Shoes, by Hans Christian Anderson. While reading, each group must complete the assigned jobs indicated on their task card.
-There should be a bag with task cards laying on your table. Along with a laminated copy of The Red Shoes.
-Table leads should distribute these cards, so that every member has one role.
-The next slide will provide you with the next steps for completing this literacy circle.
As a group you will read The Red Shoes. It is the group's responsibility to keep the flow of reading going. Do not read the entire text on your own. Be a good member, and hold your group accountable for their learning.
I have provided each group with key terms and overarching questions to answer while they read. At the end of this session, we will review and reflect on each group's responses.
