This experiment will explore whether adding different substances to a gelaffects its strength. literally it's a science project to make your own glue being able to substitute it. Knowing why some gels are stronger than others, and how to strengthen weak gels. who knows it may come in handy the next time you need glue.
What sort of chemicals make the jello stronger?
Can additives affect the jellos chemical properties?
Which substance will make the gel much stronger than glue?
If the process of the jello being made is correct then the citric acid will be the strongest compared to the salt and sugar.
The risk is when the jello is mixing it tends to get sticky. Another is you need to boil water so you need to be very careful. i also need to take serious watch of the jello while its in th fridge.
The constanst is the jello substance
The variable is the different types of ingriedients
Dependent is the amount of times that was done and the weight of the pennies.
My hypothesis was correct, the citric acid was the strongest the ingridient held a total of 8 pennies and sugar held 4 and salt held 3.
Yes it can reason being is because different ingridients made it stickier.
Again yes results have shown cirtric acid strenghtne it and made is way more solid.
with the citric acid being used a definite yes,but not all the time.
The way that i would make this way better in the future is by instead of leaving the jello overnight. I would do it early in the morning that way i could leave it all day and continue at night.
