Growing up

Jackie grew up in a single parent family. He was great at all sports he played and was a very good athlete.He was the first athlete to have letters in four varsity sports.He actually played football for a time. But due to financial difficulties he dropped out and enlisted in the army.

Entering the league

As mentioned earlier due to racial discrimination Robinson left the army and decided to join the negro baseball league.

Getting into MLB

As time went on Robin sons talent was noticed by many and soon he was accepted into Major league Baseball.

Jackie Robinson fought through many adversities. The main one being racism. Being the first black man to break the color barrier in baseball was hard and this is something he went through daily.
