- They have more than 30 thousand cards, several thousand bills and other things like t-shirts, caps, or thoughts written on napkins, which people also like to leave.
- In 1974 a rice merchant from Guanacaste put a card to advertise his business and since then the walls have been loaded with thousands or millions of souvenirs.
- Now, the paper of that man who started this tradition was lost among all the messages left by visitors filling every corner of the place. Currently the owners do not know where the card is.
