We will be travelling by bus to Ghent.
During our tour we will also be visiting Bruges, Ostende and De Panne.

HOW
We will need to meet at the Taunton Centre at 06:15 (yes, that is early...) on TUESDAY 27th JUNE.
We should then arrive at Dover for 11:50.
We will use the Eurotunnel at 12:50 to get to Calais.
YOU WILL NEED YOUR PASSPORTS!
We should then get to Ghent by 16:30 local time. We will rehearse the band and have our evening meal at 18:30. After that is free time for the evening.

- Clothes for 4 days
- Weather permitting we may be visiting a beach so you may want to bring appropriate clothing
- Money (in Euros) for lunch and any other souveniers
- Passport
- Musical Instruments (eg. guitar, bass)
- Mains adapters for charging electrical devices

We will be away for four days. Days 1 and 4 are mostly travelling days to or from Belgium.
Days 2 and 3 will be spent by visiting sites, enjoying the local areas and, more importantly, gigging.

- Meet at Taunton Centre for 06:15. Depart for Dover.
- Cross Eurotunnel at 12:50.
- Arrive in Ghent for 16:30. Rehearse.
- Evening Meal at 18:30.
- Free time in the evening until 11pm.

- 08:00 Breakfast
- 09:00 Depart for Bruges
- 09:30 Arrive in Bruges. Explore and work way to canal.
- 11:00 Canal trip.
- 11:30 Explore Bruges. Possible excursions TBC.
- 15:00 Leave Bruge to go to Ostende.
- 15:45 Explore Ostende.
- 17:00 Evening Meal at Ostende Hotel.
- 17:45 Leave hotel to go to Bandstand.
- 18:15 SET UP FOR GIG.
- 19:00 PERFORM
- 20:00 BREAK DOWN GEAR and head back to Ghent.
- 21:30 Free time until 11pm.

- 11:00 Depart for De Panne
- 12:30 Arrive, unload and start SETTING UP FOR GIG.
- 14:00 PERFORM GIG.
- 15:00 BREAK DOWN and pack away. Go to beach.
- 16:45 Leave for Ghent.
- 18:30 Evening meal.
- 19:45 Depart for bowling.
- 22:15 Arrive back at hotel in Ghent.
- Free time until 11pm.

- 07:30 Breakfast (yes, early start!) Make sure you are packed.
- 08:45 Leave for Calais.
- 11:50 Cross Eurotunnel.
- 16:30 Arrive back at Taunton Centre.
RULES
No under-age drinking. Alcoholic drinks limited to one with evening meal.
11pm curfew every evening. Please be sensible as we often have early starts.
You will be represeniting the college abroad, so we expect good behaviour throughout.
Where possible, you must eat chocolate.
