Mr. Stahlecker

Mr. Stahlecker

I was raised in Palacios, Tx (small fishing town). I have been involved with music since I was around 5 years old and officially began choir in the 6th grade. Since then, I have been involved in choir, theatre, and various other performance groups. I eventually applied and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in December 2018. After graduating I spent time gaining experience by working in various different school districts in the DFW area. Aside from music, I love participating in Taekwondo during my free time and periodically cooking food. Lastly, I enjoy learning new things about people and developing new skills to help improve myself.

Mrs. Lathrom

Amanda Lathrom is a voice teacher and performer in the Dallas area. She holds vocal performance degrees from the University of Houston and Sam Houston State University, and is currently working toward her Doctorate of Musical Arts with a related field in vocal pedagogy from the University of North Texas. Along with teaching, Mrs. Lathrom regularly performs in both the operatic and concert settings. Most recently, she performed the role of Mrs. Fiorentino in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene with the North Texas Opera Theater and was the soprano soloist in Bach’s Magnificat with the Westminster Choral Festival in Princeton, New Jersey.

Amanda Lathrom has had the opportunity to perform with various professional choirs around Texas and in Philadelphia and New York City. Her most recent choral performance was Handel’s Messiah with the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir and Philadelphia Orchestra.

Since moving to Dallas in the past year, Mrs. Lathrom currently serves as the soprano section leader at Church of the Incarnation and enjoys teaching intermediate and high school students throughout the area. She is thrilled to teach and share music with such wonderful and talented students at Red Oak High School.
