Humanistic psychologists have 2 objectives by emphasizing Irrational and Destrutive instincs, but BF skinner only focused on external causes of Behavior.

Abraham Maslow Popularized the idea of Self-Actualization.

Maslow saw self-actualization as the fulfillment of one’s greatest potential. In his discussions of self-actualization, however, he was referring solely to people, rather than all organisms.

Rogers had a theory that a persons self determines their behavior and their view or relation to the world. Being mature to one self is going through maturation process which is a good goal of a healthy personality. The self theory has been the center feature of many Personalities.

Is the study of human cognition and how it affect learning and behavior.

Contemporary cognitive theory has followed one of two broad approach:-the developmental approach, derived from the work of Jean Piaget and concerned with “representational thought” and the construction of mental models of the world, and the information-processing approach, which views the human mind as analogous to a sophisticated computer system.
