Analog Vs. Digital Transmission

Shaniyah Green

What is Analog

Analog

A transmission method of conveying information using a continuous signal which varied in amplitude, phase, or some in proprieties in portion to that information. It could be the transfer of an analog signal, using an analog modulation method.

Digital

Digital Transmission is a type of signal transmission in which the signals vary discretely with time between two values: one representing the binary number 0 and the other representing 1. The variable quantity in copper cabling is generally the voltage or electrical potential.

Whats the Difference

The Difference

Analog transmission conveys voice, data, image, signal, or video information using an information signal that is continuously varying; digital transmission transfers data over a transmission medium discretely.

How are they Simulator

Analog and digital signals are used to transmit information, usually through electric signals. In both these technologies, the information, such as any audio or video, is transformed into electric signals.
