Cesium (Cs)

By:Charity Gatlin

About

Catalyst aquired her powers when two men (Robert Bunsen and Gustav Kirchhoff kidnapped her and injected her with Cesium-133 in Hielderberg, Germany in 1860.

Catalyst is silvery- gold with light blues lines in her spectrum. She is soft and one of the only metals to be a liquid at or near room temprature.

Positive Aspects

Catalyst has many powers up her sleeves, including but not limiting to:

  • Melting to squeeze through cracks
  • Creating her own electricity using sunlight (no dead phone batteries for her)
  • Super speed (the light from the sun increases the speed of cesium atoms)
  • And the ability to combust (herself of other people or objects) when her sidekick, Incitement, is present.

Negative Aspects

Because she is so reactive, Catalyst is easily harmed by villians if she isn't careful, she has to dose herself in kerosene to stay unreactive.

Catalyst has her hideout in the depths of Bernic Lake, Canada, where cesium is most commonly found.

Bernic Lake

Bernic Lake is home to one of the largest active producers of cesium. It is cold ( as is the rest of Canada) and is currently in below freezing temprature.

Catalyst's arch enemies are human, Although they have no powers, they are difficult to beat. Not because they are smart (though they are evil geniuses), they have followers with powers that they send after her and her side kick beacause they won't join the dark side.

Catalyst

Catalyst real name is Cathrine Alkali, and she is from Canada. She came up with the name Catalyst when her sidekick, Hayden, asked her for her name. She lied about her name because of "Stranger Danger" and Hayden told her his name beacuse he is an idiot.
