Aim of study

  • It was not previously studied in UAE

  • So,The aim of our study was to conduct the correlation between betatrophin in metabolic syndrome individuals in UAE

Aim of studies

Methods

  • 277 samples were recruited from volunteers

  • Fasting blood samples were collected from each individual based on specific measurements

Methods

Gender

Standards

Parameters

waist circumference

weight and height

  • BMI were calculated using the height and weight

Samples were centrifuged

Refrigerated at -80 degrees

We measured the glucose levels and the lipid profile using Pchem machine

We measured the Betatrophin using an automated ELISA
