YOGURT is an interactive, participatory installation that maps, visualizes & contextualizes each bowl of yogurt that participants will be invited to eat & consume while being situated in a gallery space.
While each bowl of yogurt is served & consumed, visualizations about the yogurt's ingredients will envelop the gallery space, immersing the participant / consumer with visualized information about the participant's location & where the yogurt they are consuming was produced, the origins of the milk & bacteria/live cultures used to produce the yogurt & speculative bits of information which will contextualize the yogurt further for the consumer / participant.
Similar to how a GPS-based app provides its users instant visualizations of their exact location & geographic locale, participants will be immersed in visualizations of where the yogurt's ingredients ( whole milk & live/active cultures ) originated & other not-so-obvious pieces of information about how that bowl of yogurt is produced.
