Creation and Adam
In the beginning there was nothing. Then God said, "Let there be light."
And so was creation. God created it all just by speaking it with his mouth.

Day 6 of Creation
Adam
On Day 6 of creation, God created mankind. God named him Adam. God gave mankind all the earth and ordered him to rule over it. Adam lived in the Garden of Eden.
After Adam
Adam and Eve
God found that Adam needed a partner in the garden. So when Adam was sleeping, he took a rib out of his body and made a woman out of it. Adam named the woman Eve.
The Forbidden Tree
The Fall
Adam and Eve had rule over everything in the garden but one thing: The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God said not to eat from the tree or you will die.

Therefore...
Then the devil, disguised as a snake, got Eve to eat the fruit. She gave it to Adam and he ate the fruit. So God punished them by making them work for food and have pain in life. They could never be perfect or live in the Garden of Eden again.
Noah
God said the people were bad so He sent Noah to build an boat. The ark was built around Mesopitamia. Nobody knows what time the ark was built.

The Flood
So Noah obeyed God and built an ark. He told Noah to get two of every animal on earth and put them on his ark. When the flood hit God killed everybody. And God saved Noah's family then he sent a rainbow to show he would never flood the earth again.
Shem
After the flood the world would look to Shem because God blessed him. Now God will do his work through Shem. And everybody whose the decendants of Canaan will have to listen to Shem.

Abraham
Abraham was the father of all the Jewish people. He lived in Ur which had very wealthy people. Until one magical day he moved to Canaan which had not a lot of people. He left Ur because the Ur empire collapsed.
Joseph
Joseph the son of Jacob was the favorite of 12 sons. All of the other sons were jealous of Jacob so they sold him to a slave owner. He worked for a man named Potiphar.

Joseph Goes To Jail
Potiphar's wife got so mad at Joseph, that she lied and got him in trouble. Potiphar believed her and sent him to jail even though Joseph was innocent.

Pharoah's Dreams
Dreams
Pharoah was having some troubling dreams. Nobody in the kingdom knew what to tell him. But Joseph said something and he was right. God gave him the things to say to Pharoah.
He said there was going to be seven years of good food, and then seven years of no food. Because he knew what was happening, Pharoah took him out of jail and promoted him to second-in-command.

Reunion
Joseph's older brothers ran out of food during the famine, so they came to Egypt to get food. Joseph knew it was them, but only ten brothers came, so he kept one back and had the nine go get the youngest one. They did what he asked and then Joseph told them that it was him. Then they ate a meal together and celebrated.
