Louver, Vertical Fin, and Panel Shading are all parts of one tool that works to efficiently use the sun and its light. Louvers/Vertical Fin Shading are blinds/shutters that have slats with solar panels integrated into them. These blinds/shutters are used to bring in air and light into your home without letting sunshine or moisture in as well. The solar panels use the light from the sun and convert it into electricity as well.
Louver, Vertical Fin, and Panel Shading is green because it reduces the amount of electricity that is being used which saves energy. It also helps with insulation by keeping out heat and moisture, and keeping in cool air so that you don't have to continue spending money and using energy to cool your house down.

Double pane windows have two panes of glass with argon gas between them. The second layer of glass, in addition to the insulating gap between the glass is what makes them stand out.
Double pane windows can help with insulation, last up to 8 to 20 years, are even 50% more more efficient than the usual windows, and because argon gas is denser than air adding it to the glass unit in double-pane windows improves thermal insulation efficiency.

Day lighting is the use of natural sunlight to provide light for the interior of a building.
With the use of day lighting you will longer need to use electricity during the day because the sun itself is lighting up your home and it can save electricity.

A Passive Solar energy system is a system that allows a house to collect the Sun's heat and distributes it around the entire house as a use for energy and heating. Greenhouse and sunrooms are examples of some passive solar heating systems.
This system is green because it does not use fossil fuels or fuel from the planet to use as energy. Instead, it uses the Sun's seemingly finite energy and heat for the house to use as power.

Conservation is the act of taking care of the Earth and Earth's raw materials. This will also help the animals and provide them with a green and suitable home. With conservation, our present-day and future-day Earth will look bright and green. Examples of helping the Earth include biking more instead of using transportation which use gas, and to recycle more.
Conservation is green because it doesn't use non renewable resources, but instead uses renewable resources which helps us and our world. Conservation is important because with it, people can reduce the amount of waste they have in this world to keep the Earth clean and healthy.

A home layout is a set up of how a house looks like. Home layouts are most commonly found on drawings called floor plans. Home layouts show the place of walls, doors, windows, rooms, furniture, etc.
Home Layouts are green because the locations that you place rooms in a house effect the amount of energy and electricity is being used. For example, rooms that are facing the South receive light throughout the whole day but rooms facing the East will get lots of light in the morning, but not as much in the afternoon. Therefore, you don't want to put rooms that need light throughout the whole day facing the east because you will be using more electricity/energy to light up those rooms.
