Started in the 1800’s. In this time, population hardly grew. But then, the industrial revolution happened in the UK. The science flourished and advanced transportation, communication, and medicine, and the role of women in society shifted.

Fewer babies were conceived and population growth slowed down. So now, fewer people were dying and fewer children were born, so the death rate and birth rate became stable.

The population stopped dying all the time, the result was a population explotion, since the reason people kept having kids was because most likely a few of them would survive.
A significant change in social viewpoint of people has changed under the impact of urbanization, industrialisation and high rate of literacy. As the development level of the world rises, the number of people with higher education will increase.
