Moana was chosen by the water, and the sea continued to call her.
The call to adventure
After she was chosen by the water, Moana wanted to venture the ocean and explore the sea, but was not allowed to do so because of her villages fear of dangers beyond the reef.
Crossing the Threshold
Moana finds out that her people used to explore the ocean, so she sails away without permission. She then washes up on a beach, where she will meet her mentor Maui.
The Challenges or Trials
Maui stole the heart of Ti Fiti, so they are forced to battle a ship of kakamora, and the realm of monsters, on their way to defeat Te Ka to restore the heart of Ti Fiti.
Supernaural helper or Mentor
Moana meets maui, who will steal the heart of Ti Fiti, bit lead moana on her way back to restore it.
Special Weapon
The water chose Moana to restore the heart of Te Fitit when she was a child. When Moana heads out into the ocean the water helps her and guides her in the right path until the end of her journey.
Abyss or Temptation
Due to the fact that Maui stole the heart of Ti Fiti, he and Moana need to restore it before the island, and village become overrun with darkness.
The Transformation
At first Moana and Maui failed to defeat Te Ka and gave up, but they returned and coquered the monster, restoring the heart of Ti FIti, and saving their village.
The return home
Moana and Maui are happy that they saved their village and the island of Montonui from darkness. They return and the village is celebrating their amazing feat.
Mastery of Two Worlds
Moana uses her skills of the ocean to help her village learn to sail, and navigate the sea beyond the reef.
