Interactions with environment

- A disease that was spread during the American Revolution was Small pox. The British had used it as a war tactic by vaccinating their troops but still sending the disease over to the American troops. Small pox was incurable in the past but this started the revolution for vaccines.

Culture

- When America wanted freedom from Britain, it involved the churches separation too. The Angelica Church of England demanded followers to pay tax money which hardly seemed fair. The Angelica people broke off from English Hierarchy and created a new church called the Episcopalian Church.

- New religions also began to have a prominent following in the 13 colonies, for example, Catholicism in the New England colonies.

- The American culture began to develop and

differentiate from the European culture.

Culture

Economic

- With the colonies in war with England, many countries broke off or slowed down trades with America. Money brought into the colonies had plummeted which accounted for a large debt after the war.

- Due to the war, the number of indentured servants decreased that came from the British which also was a problem because the men were off fighting at the war so there was no one to tend to the farms, leaving the job to the women.

- The American economy went through a crisis after the war, ships were destroyed in the war, supplies such as food had been used up in war and there was

huge debt that the Americans had to face.
