Eye Glasses

1284

Eye Glasses were created in 1284 by Salvino d'Armati In Italy. Eyeglasses changed the way people see the world people who previously couldn't see the chance to see image. And the lenses in glasses created telescopes and microscope which both are revolutionary for the scientific world. they alter the direction of light rays to focus light properly onto the retina.

The Microscope

1590

The Microscope was created in 1590 by Zacharias Janssen in the Netherlands. The microscope could be used to study microscopic organisms or to study microscopic bacteria to create other bacteria. The eyepiece lens magnifies the image from the objective lens, rather like a magnifying glass.

Telescope

1608

Telescope was created in 1608 in Germany by Hans Lippershey. The Telescope allowed us to study the stars and the telescope was the first sign of humans infatuation with space and the first device used for space. Refracting telescopes work by using two lenses to focus the light and make it look like the object is closer to you than it really is. Both lenses are in a shape that's called convex.

Mirror

The Mirror was created in 1835 in Germany Justus von Liebig. The mirror can be used in telescopes and for experiment with LASERS. rays of light coming from an object strike the smooth surface of a mirror, they bounce back at the same angle.

1835

Solar Panel

Solar Panel in 1839 in France by Alexandre Edmond Becquerel the solar panels gave the world a new cleaner way to power a house but the downside is its very expensive. A solar panel works by allowing photons, or particles of light, to knock electrons free from atoms, generating a flow of electricity.

1839

Camera

The Camera was invented in 1839 in France by Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicéphore Niépce The camera was created by using a piece of paper coated with silver chloride, which darkened where it was exposed to light. The cameras gave photographic proof to new unbelievable scientific discoveries.

1839

Optical video recording technology

Optical video recording technology- 1958 in Netherlands by David Paul Gregg and James Russell. The Optical video recording technology filmed great new unrealistic inventions even more proof. The process of recording signals on a medium through the use of light, so that the signals may be reproduced at a subsequent time.

1958

Computer Mouse

Computer Mouse was invented in 1964 in United States by Douglas Engelbart A computer mouse is far easier to use than the touch pad and far more more comfortable to use.An optical mouse works in a completely different way. It shines a bright light down onto your desk from an LED (light-emitting diode) mounted on the bottom of the mouse. The light bounces straight back up off the desk into a photocell

1964

Laser Scanning

Laser Scanning 1965 by Riegle laser scanning manufacture . If we didn't have laser scanning we wouldn't have the choice to copy files on to disc or play movies on a DVD player. Laser scanning is also used for 3D printing.Within the field of 3D object scanning, laser scanning combines controlled steering of laser beams with a laser rangefinder. By taking a distance measurement at every direction the scanner rapidly captures the surface shape of objects.

1965

Fiber Optic Wire

Fiber optic wire was invented in 1970 in the UK by Robert Maurer, Donald Keck, and Peter Schultz. Fiber optic wires are much more effective than copper and it travels at the speed of light. fiber optics work by sending light beams down thin strands of plastic or glass by making them bounce repeatedly off the walls.
