The Iphone is Manufactured by: Foxconn and Petragon in Szenchen, China and is designed in Cupertino, California by Apple inc. The Iphone had a share of about 79% of the global Phone market in 2016, there are about 700 million Iphones in use today.

Foxconn, The biggest Manufacturer of the Iphone has more than 100 lines opperating 24/7 with 300,000 employs working to produce between 200,000 and 600,000 Iphones every single day!

It costs apple 224 dollars to manufacture the 649 dollar 32 GB Iphone 7, and about 187 dollars to manufacture the 649 dollar 32 GB Iphone 6s. That gives them a profit of 426 and 463 dollars per Iphone.

2 different places where this effects the Most:

China: Apple's Iphones are manufactured there and that gives china a huge economic boost. Foxconn has 1.3 million employs and pegatron has 200,000 employs and many of them are for the Iphone. That creates many jobs and it helps boost their economy and trade because of all the shipping.

In other countries that apple receives parts from also benifit because they trade with Apple and they have to ship parts, also it creates Jobs there. Also for the USA many people are being hired to design, many well paying jobs are created there

Political Aspect

The government would grant apple special privelages and would maybe reduce their tax and remove some trading restrictions. Since Apple in the USA is manufacturing with Foxconn in China the 2 countries improve relations and that also is politics.

Apple wastes many resources and lots of pollution from the foxconn factories and all the gas and fossil fuels burned from the Factory runoff into rivers and streams.

Apple is however trying to reduce this. Waste is being limited and resources are being used more thoughfully, also many solar pannels and wind turbines are being installed and many things are being electrically powered instead of gas powered.

Social/ Cultural Aspect

China and America are the 2 biggest places the Iphone is associated with. People begin forming thoughts in their minds and begin looking and assuming things about that place, and internally many people are in association with the IPhone, Apple and Foxconn. So this deeply affects their lives and others thoughts about you. In America it is the design and Proffesional engineering thought, and in China it is Manufacturing and production thought. This can be posotive because it helps those that live there but it can also form negative opinions beause you can forget about actualy chinese and aisian culture and alsways only relate it to the wetern world, That could be a problem.

The when the final design is decided upon The chinese companies order millions upon millions of parts from all around the world. So many companies supply and that's not even the beginning step. First the raw elements are mined and original chemicals are produced.

Then they are shipped to other companies who use those raw elements to produce products and they are shipped to other companies that make Iphone parts and maybe even more stages before they get to the Iphone stage.

Then those companies send their products to china, and other countries such as brazil, south korea, and taiwan. Finally to china and then they are shipped to Apple and then to the customer.

Sometimes many customers may sell them even further times such as on amazon and ebay so there is a lot of trade agreements and globalization is dramatically increased.

Because suddenly all these nations are connected and they play an important role. Many companies in Many nations supply Parts and the Iphone is Sold in more than 40 countries so a lot of trade is involved and it affects globalization a lot
