In the beginning of the story Moo, Reena's parents loose their jobs and their family decides to move to Maine. When they arrive at the new house, Reena's parents meet one of their new neighbors Ms. Falala at the eye docter. Ms. Falala had said if Reena and Luke want to come over for the day and help out around the farm that would be great. The next day, Reena and Luke go over to Ms. Falala's house and meet her. Reena and Luke did not like Ms. Falala, and Ms. Falala thought they were disrespectful. Luke and Reena's parents said they got a call from Ms. Falala saying the kids were "disrespectful" and their parents believed it. Their parents made them apologize and keep working on the farm. Slowly they had started becomig friends. Luke taught Ms. Falala how to draw while Reena worked. Ms. Falala really enjoyed learning how to draw.
Reena and Luke go back to Mrs. Falala's house and they meet her cow, Zora. Afterwards, Luke and Reena meet the other animals Paulie the pig, Edna the snake, and China the cat. The next week, when Reena and Luke arrive at Ms. Falala's house, she says that after all their tasks they can start training Zora for the state fair. The next day, Reena and Luke take a walk and meet Beat and Zep and start talking to them. Reena tells them they have been working for Ms. Falala. Beat and Zep offer to help. Beat, Zep, and the head of the farm go over to Ms. Falala's house to help train Zora for the fair. They bring their trained cow Yolanda over to help Zora train. As Luke and Reena continue to work on the farm they start to respect and like Ms. Falala.
A few months later, Zora is ready to go to the fair with Yolanda and all the other animals. That morning Reena, Luke and thier parents get up early to help Zora get in the trailer with all the other cows. On the way to the fair, Reena asks Luke if he invited Ms. Falala to come. Lukes says that she is coming. When they arrive, Reena takes Zora when they are about to perform. While there are a few bumps in the road overall it is a great experience for Reena and Zora. They come in fifth place. At that point, everyone notices Ms. Falala is not present. When they arrive back at Ms. Falala's house everyone starts searching for Ms. Falala. Reena and Luke go to the attic and sadly find Ms. Falala laying dead. Reena and Luke look around the attic and all the drawings that she and Luke made are hanging on the walls. Next, Luke and Reena go downstairs and spread the news. Everyone is sad, and they do not know what to do with Zora. So, Ms. Falala's wealthy neighbor buys her house and Luke and Reena are able to go over to the house everyday and take care of all of the animals.
The main idea of this book is even if at first you don't like someone if you take the time to get to know them you might be surprised, and you can even learn something from that person.
Problem: Reena and Luke do not like Ms. Falala and do not want to work on her farm like their parents wanted them to.
Solution: They all work through their differences and grow. Ms Falala learns how to draw from Luke. Reena has an amazing experience competing in the state fair with Zora, and gets to know Ms. Falala better.
Ratings: I rate this book a 9/10.
Recommendations: I reccomend this book to anyone who likes animals, with mostly an outdoor setting. Also, if you don't like that much action in a book.
Opinion: My opinion about this book is it got a little boring at times but it was still a great book. Also, it was kind of hard to do my prezi because a lot of the book was the same storyline at times. And there wasn't that much action.
