Abstract Overview

Anna Garcia Case Abstract

This case focuses on the death of twenty year old college student, Anna Garcia, who was found dead at her place of work on campus, The Gentry Life Science building at 10 am by her boyfriend. The purpose of the investigation was to determine and evaluate the cause, method, and means by which young Anna died. The case investigated possibilities such as natural physiological causes, murder, and accident. After analyzing all scene evidence and clues, an autopsy was performed to look for more clues into the mysterious death. A study and examination of Anna's heart showed that she likely suffered a myocardial infarction (heart attack). Her cause of death suggests no foul play, and the case should be closed as a natural, biological accident.

Conclusion & Recommendation

Conclusion: Case Closed

All evidence and information shows that Anna Garcia, age 20, died unexpectedly of a heart attack. The upheaval and mess of the crime scene was due to Anna hitting her head on the counter-top as she collapsed on the ground. The cause of her death was a myocardial infarction. The Mechanism was through which a blood clot traveled to the heart and reduced bloodflow until the heart gave out. The manner was a natural accident. The biological response to Anna's body was unexpected, but not unbeknown to still happen to young women. There is no direct correlation found between the aspirin and caffeine Anna consumed. It is recommended by the case worker that the case be closed as a naturally caused accident. Anna Garcia died at such a young age from a heart attack.
