Watercolor

The photo I chose for my water color was two trees at the beach with a pretty sky.

The most challenging part of this painting was trying to mix the colors to make it look the way the actual picture looked.

The most successful part of my painting was the colors and how they matched.

If I had a chance to change anything I would pick another drawing and find something more simple.

Pen and Ink

-The photo I chose was a bird house I chose this photo because I could see where the vaule in it was.

-The most challenging thing about this drawing was the actual pen and ink, I had never heard or seen anything about it so I did not want to mess anything up.

-The whole drawing in my opion is the best art work I say this because when you look at this photo your know excatly what your looking at and I did good for a first time using pen and ink.

-Is there anything you would change about your drawing? No

The photo I chose was a picture of me with curly hair posing in my room.

The most challenging part of this drawing was trying to find my skin tone and seeing the different shades of my skin.

The most successful part of my drawing was my hair only because it was my first time drawing hair and I did good.

If I had another opportunity to do this over again I would keep the same picture reference I would just go back and tweak my facial features.

She chose I sit down pose so it would not be that hard me to draw her whole entire body.

-The most challenging part of this drawing defintly was the face becuase I could not get it to look like her.

-The most susccful part of this drawing was the pants just because of the shading.

-I would defintrly spend more time on her face if I had more time.

I chose Salvador Dali for my inspiration because I love the weirdness of his drawing that make you guess the theme.

I chose Breakfast/fruit theme on the beach.

The most challenging part of this was thinking for the creativity.

The most successful thing of this painting was the thought that was put into it.

If I was given another chance I would change the drawing and make something better.

Final Thoughts

My favorite project from this semester was the pen and ink. In the beginning of this project I was a bit nervous because I had never heard of a pen and ink drawing. It was also stressful trying to find a drawing example but it all came to an end and a good end at that. My least favorite project was the charocal landscape, I say that because looking at the project you can not look at it and tell what it is. I think I could've did better if I had another drawing. This semester I learned that their are a lot of different types of things to draw with such as charcoal, different paints, and pencils. I do not plan on taking art 3 because I will graduate next year.
