Admiral De Grasse
François Joseph Paul de Grasse was a French Admiral during the Revolutionary War and commanded the French Fleet at the Battle of Chesapeake Bay.
George Brydges Rodney, 1st Baron Rodney was a Naval Officer in the Caribbean during the Revolutionary War. He was the person that sent a message to New York about an impending French fleet coming from the West.
Samuel Hood, 1st Viscount Hood was a Naval Officer during the Revolutionary War. Joining with Officer Rodney's force they took over the tiny island of St. Eustatius from the French. Afterward with 14 warships they wen up to New York to combine with Admiral Graves's ships.

Comte de Barras
Admiral Samuel Graves was a British Fleet Comander during the American Revolutionary War. He was in commmand of the British ships at teh battle of Chesapeake Bay.
Jacques-Melchior Saint-Laurent, Comte de Barras was a French Admiral in the Revolutionary War who was in charge of bringing French artillery pieces to Chesapeake Bay in order to help General Washington and Lafayette siege Yorktown.
When going towards Chesapeake Bay they began to see the masts of the French. The British commander beleived the masts to be trees.
In total there were only 33 ships of the line in the battle with 24 French ships carrying a supposed 1,700 guns and 19 British ships carrying 1,900 guns.
HMS London
HMS, or His/Her Majesties Ship, London was one of the larger ships present at the battle of Chesapeake Bay. After the battle it had lost three of it's masts.
Ville de Paris
Ville de Paris or in English City of Paris was the largest ship in the world at the time and Amdiral Graves's flagship and became famous during the Revolution and fought at the battle of Chesapeake Bay.
