What is Climate Change

(ECONOMIC IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE, 2021)

More on Climate Change

Global climate change refers to the average long-term changes over the entire Earth. These include warming temperatures and changes in precipitation, as well as the effects of Earth’s warming, such as:

  • Rising sea levels
  • Shrinking mountain glaciers
  • Ice melting at a faster rate than usual in Greenland, Antarctica and the Arctic
  • Changes in flower and plant blooming times.

The Effects Of Climate Change

  • Rising maximum temperatures,
  • Higher ocean temperatures
  • An increase in heavy precipitation (heavy rain and hail) and Natural disasters
  • Rising sea levels
  • Shrinking glacier
  • And many others

Recommendations on to Reduce Climate Change

Recommendations

  • Limiting the use of fossil fuels such as oil, carbon and natural gas and replacing them with renewable and cleaner sources of energy, all while increasing energy efficiency.
  • Use energy wisely — and save money too! You can swap your gas stove for an electric stove, which will also lower indoor air pollution unplug computers, TVs and other electronics when you’re not using them. Wash clothes in cold water. hang-dry your clothes when you can and use  dryer balls  when you can’t, look for the energy Star label when buying new appliances Winterize your home to prevent heat from escaping and try to keep it cool in the summer without an air conditioner and you can also hanged to energy-efficient light bulbs.
  • Get charged up with renewable, the global push for cleaner, healthier energy is on. With costs dropping every day, renewable energy is the best choice for the environment and the economy.

According to Suzuki, 2021) Starting a climate conversation can play a vital role in reducing climate change, solving climate change requires us all to work together. We can’t do that without finding common ground with those who may not share our perspective. Since people often trust peers, family members and loved ones more than they trust experts, scientists and environmental organizations, you can talk to people about climate change in ways we can’t. You are more likely to open people’s minds.

Conclusion

Though, the realization is that herbal systems round the arena are being affected by nearby weather changes, especially temperature will increase, and that these temperature will increase are very probably to be the result of anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases. Most obvious are reductions in snow, ice and frozen floor, which, in turn, are main to growth and expanded numbers of glacial lakes, and improved ground instability in permafrost and mountain areas. Even though the best reduction in ice volume has befell in the Arctic. There is widespread proof that current warming is strongly affecting terrestrial organic systems, probably the maximum important impact of greenhouse fuel emissions is inside the oceans, which have grown to be increasingly acidic as carbon dioxide is absorbed by water to emerge as carbonic acid. Other effects of regional climate modifications on natural and human environments are rising, although many are tough to determine because of version and non-climatic traits consisting of land-use exchange. those encompass in advance spring planting of crops, growth in forest fires in northern high latitudes and hotter and drier situations within the Sahel, main to a reduced length of developing season (Parry, Canziani and Parry, 2008)
