Vision Statement:
Our school's technology goal is to create innovative and collaborative learners who are prepared to dive into the diverse, ever changing world of technology.
Why is technology important?

Our goal is to help students successfully become technology advocates while implementing self driven tasks. Our students will learn how to take charge of their own learning while using technology in our classrooms. We will be implementing one-to-one technology to help meet this need.

- The former problem in our school district, is the students are not able to use technology as often and as personally developed as possible.
- The students have to share their time with the 22 other students in the classroom.
Solution

- Our solution is to provide one-to-one laptops for all students in our district.
- This will differentiate our technology and our lessons to better meet the student's needs.
Purse of Implementing our Vision Statement
Purpose
According to Gura (2018), "The vision statement defines and explains the school community's technology use, including how it applies to and addresses the following:
- Community
- Treating and supporting students and their parents
- Aspiration for students
- teaching and learning" (p.61).

Elements of the Vision Statement Continued
Our district takes pride in the involvement of the community. Creating this visions statement hold us accountable as to what is being implemented in our schools.
When creating our statement we took into consideration the student's parents and how we can teach and involvement them in our new technology as well. We will hold parent involvement nights to help show them how to use the technology at home.
We want to push our students to reach their full potential. Our aspirations are high and we encourage our community to support our students as we do.
