Level 2 question

Answer

a) Explain why would Jack tell Julian to shut up when he made fun of August in the school tour but tell the truth that he didn't like August and make fun of him at Halloween?

b) Do you think he meant on hurting August ?

a) I think it was because in the school tour, Jack wanted to give August a good first impression and he needed to complete the job of being friends with him. However, at Halloween, he was talking to Justin about his true thoughts of August and didn't expect or know that August walked nearby and overheard what he had said.

b) I don't think he meant hurting August because he only meant to express his feelings to Julian, telling him that he didn't like August that much.
