When I was 6 or 7 I watched Legally Blonde and was instantly inspired and fell in love with Elle Woods and what she overcame. Everyone told her that she wouldn't accomplish anything, and that she should just go home. Her story relates to me as this is what I face everyday, because of my skin color. She showed everyone that she was more; she overcame the adversity she faced, graduated top of her class, became an astounding attorney, and in her second movie passed bruiser's bill even though they said it was dead on arrival. She's always inspired me from that point on; that I can do it no matter what I face. Look at me today.
As someone who fits in many suppressed demographics, I felt that no one was listening. I saw the killing of George Floyd and knew a stand had to be taken. I was actively protesting and pushing everything I'm pushing now. Many people asked me to be a voice for them, as they were scared and I was not. How can I say no when my neighbors are asking for someone to lead? I am not a part the dirty politics and recycled groomed candidates. Now is the time for change and diversity.

- Police response
- breaking the criminal stigma *
What I would like to stress to everyone is that our mentally ill are people as well. They have emotions and feelings. Sometimes the way they express themselves isn't what we see as normal, but it's the only way they are able to get it out. It's not a crime to be overwhelmed, stressed, confused, and scared. They just express it differently and we shouldn't see this as criminal behavior. Unless they are immediately threatening themselves or others don't call the police. This could end in unnecessary pain and suffering. If we feel so compelled to act, lets create a task force to help these people get the help they need. If not then just leave them alone.
* Start Anti-Racism lessons in schools
* Better/Affordable after school programs and child care options
* Resource centers (near the Second Harvest Food Drive)
Some problems have multiple solutions and some solutions solve multiple problems. To fix symptomatic issues, find the root of the issue and start there. Its a trickle down effect, for example budge; if we can get our city finances in better shape and reallocate money, we can fund our cemetery, and programs. I think city manager and city council should sit with an financial adviser every so many years to get input.

* Follow state mandates and guidelines
I proposed once we reach a phase where we start letting kids attend school, we should consider minimum class sizes. We should consider letting children who are at risk of failing and not understanding the material and small classroom sizes of 10 or less with one teacher and one aid. The children that have all the tools and are doing well with online learning should be allowed to continue that progress. We should consider allowing are truly needy and at-risk kids that don't have the tools to be successful in an online environment. This is just a small solution and I know it has errors such as what about working parents but together we can figure that out.
WEAR A MASK IT SHOULDN'T BE A DEBATE!!!!!!!

We only have one planet. Even if we had a second I don't think we would take very good care of it either. The polar ice caps are melting, the weather is becoming more extream. The evidence of Global Warming is everywhere! No longer can we use ignorance as an excuse, we know what we are doing to the earth, the air, the sea, EVERYWHERE!!! The affects can be irreversable, and detrimental to all living creatures on this planet. We have the power, resources, and knowledge to combat it.

We need that step away from, born into, breed, and recyled politics and politicians. Its a new generation, era, and world order. There is no room for outdated policies that can't change and progress with our ever changing diverse city. Too long has it been a world for the elite, and rich. They can't speak for the midle class or any supressed demographic. We need equal opportunities and representation, which is something we don't have. I am the start of changing all this, I know the road is long, hard, and unpaved. I will pave this road for many others to travel!
