present day
In the beginning of the book, Miles Murphey moves from the city to Yawnee Valley, a place famous for it's cows, it's a very cool place if you like cows, Miles does not like cows. He was going to his new school (Yawnee Valley Science and Letters Academy) and on the top of the steps were Principal Barkin's car! at the cafeteria, Miles met Josh Barkin (the school bully) and acted like Josh knocked his lunch tray over him, Josh was sent to his father's office and would get Miles back for that. After school, Miles finished dinner and went to his room and came up with a new prank it was called The Birthday Party Prank. He made up a person named Cody Burr-Tyler and created a birthday party for him. On the day of the prank, it was going perfectly for Miles and then Principal Barkin came and made it even better for Miles, his plan was to make a party, give a speech that says they were just pranked and that Cody Burr-Tyler didn't exist, then walk off with all the presents. When he was about to give the speech, a limo rolled in and "Cody Burr-Tyler" came out.
In the middle of the book, Miles received a rubber chicken and met at the location and time and there was Niles, but he wasn't the Niles that Miles knew, he was the school prankster, and he acted innocent so he was above suspicion. Miles then declared a prank war with Miles. Later in the book, Miles was doing his first prank,a written confession of parking the car on the steps from"Niles". But Niles foiled it and changed the N's to M's in the letter and he would hold on to it if he needed it. The next prank was in the classroom and took a total of 2 weeks to put into action, it was to foil a presentation of Niles's, he would switch the diorama of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon with a diorama of Principal Barkin taking a bath. Niles foiled this too and revealed his diorama and Miles wanted to check if he had the bath diorama and when he opened his box, he released 2 thousand crickets in the classroom. Miles was called to Principal Barkin and was accused of pulling a prank. Two month's later, Niles finally pulled his prank, he made a pie catapult and put it in the locker below his and when Stuart opened his locker he was "pied" and when Miles thought that he wasn't pranked he opened his locker and there was whipped cream and cherries, he had been framed by Niles.
During the end of the book, Miles agrees to be part of the Terrible Two with Niles, Miles goes over to Niles's house and he is shown the "pranking lab", whitch is accually a walk-in closet. They decided on filling the school with cows. They then built a tree house (you'll find out later) and would read and camp out there. At midnight, they began the prank and went to a field with cows to bring to school. They brought them along grass, then dirt road, then paved road and they knew where they were going.

recommendations
Opinions
I would rate this book a 8/10 because it was a interesting book but it could of been longer in my opinion. But it was a humorous book too and I personally enjoy humor books.
I would recommend this book to people who like a short and humorous book. I wouldn't recommend this book to people who like long, detailed, and fantasy books.
In my opinion this was an ok book. I would want it to be longer and more detailed because I prefer those books that are detailed. I liked the humor and the pranks in the book. It was also a very fast book, the book went very fast and at some points it was april and then may in about 2 sentences.
