Introduction

Background..

Breast cancer (BC) is a devastating and most common life-threatening cancer in women responsible for about 20 percent of cancer mortality in population. There are four main major breast cancer subtypes have been identified based on the estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and HER2. Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).

Our new formulation is targeting estrogen positive breast cancer cell lines, this formulation it consists of liposomal doxorubicin and tamoxifen. By using this new combination we will increase the selectivity to breast cancer,so elevated efficacy and decreased toxicity will be seen.

Objectives..

1-Research questions

2-Aim of the work

1-Research questions

  • How can we improve the efficacy and reduce the cytotoxicity of the antineoplastic agents ?
  • Can we prepare these formulation?
  • Would the doxorubicin/tamoxifen formulation is effect ?
  • Is there any different in activity between doxorubicin/tamoxifen and doxorubicin/tamoxifen in delivery formula ?

experiment

2-Aim of the work

  • The principal goal of this study is to develop a new formulation
  • greatly improve the drug delivery and selective efficacy as well as to minimize the toxicity of chemotherapy.

in-vitro study

Group1 control group of non-treated cell lines ( MCF-7 est/S) and (MDA-MB-231 est/N)

Group 2 Treatment of both cell lines with

doxorubicin alone
