This activity offers you the opportunity to demonstrate that you understand the potential of design and brand communication to have a positive impact and what to consider for succeeding at this.

Instructions

1. Find an example of brand communication or design (from your own discipline) that has a positive impact.

2. Provide an image (or write a transcript if not visual) of your example.

3. Write and essay of 250-500 words to discuss why and how this example makes a difference to the world.

Consider the following questions in your essay...

a) What was the objective/goal of this example?

b) Who is the target audience/user?

c) What is the underlying concept and strategy?

d) Did the creative team focus on and understand the end-user when they developed the example? Why do you say so? Discuss referring to aspects of your example.

e) Do you think the example was successful in answering to its goal?

f) What might the creative team have done to increase the impact of the example?
