expand mindset on DNA.
DNA is a long molecule made up of units called nucleotides.
Nucleotides are made up of three basic components.
The 4 different nucleotides like the 26 letters in the alphabet, could be strung together in many different ways.
The nucleus is where the DNA is stored in a cell (in the human body).
The founders of DNA were Francis Crick and James Watson.
A strand of DNA is created by a sugar called deoxyribose, phosphate, and a nitrogenous (nitrogen containing sorta thing) base.
The 2 groups of nitrogenous bases are Purine and Pyrimidines.
The Purine group consists of Adenine and Guanine.
The Pyrimidines group contains both Cytosine and Thymine.
Will be on 4th periods Google Classroom under the name "".
