Monocots have one cotyledon, they have parallel veins, there vascular bundles are scattered around the stem, the roots are Fibrous roots, and the flowers are often in the multiples of three.

Dicots have two cotyledons, they have branched veins, there floral parts often in multiples of three or four , vascular bundles arrange in the ring, and the roots are taproot.
