Summaries

In the beginning of the story, the four tabby cats wake up and have breakfast. Rodger and Thlema, two of the cats, decide to go back and visit their mom who lives in a city under a dumpster. It is difficult for them to go because they way everything looks now is not how they remember it.

Summaries

In the middle of the story, Rodger and Thelma make it to the city and they cannot find their mom. They see many bulldozers while they are on the top of a house in the city and they hear something inside the house. They go peek inside and find a black-winged tabby cat. They cat purred like it was saying "hate" to Rodger and Thelma.

In the end of the story, the bulldozers start getting closer to the house so they need to get out. Then the house is knocked down and Thelma, holding the black-winged tabby cat, and Rodger fly out of the house. The black-winged tabby cat played a trick on Thelma and flew down toward the ground and Thelma and Rodger tried to catch her. All three cats are on the ground and the black-winged tabby cat goes to her mom who is actuallty Thelma and Rodger's mom as well.

Theme of the Story and Ratings, Recommendations and Opinion of Book

Theme of the Story and Ratings, Recommendations and Opinion ...

Theme: Don't judge a person by their first act.

R, R, and O: I would rate this book 8 1/2 out of 10 because it was a somewhat confusing but mostly heartwarming story and not at all what you would expect in the end. I would recommend this book to someone who likes cats and reuniting and unexpected story endings.
