COMMINUTION PROCESS

1

First the material to be comminuted is extracted from its natural source.

2

Secondly measurements are taken with a calibrator to know the real size of the sample particles, which will be reduced in size.

3

After that the material in a smaller size, is collected and selected, measuring an average particle size

4

Then the material is separated by size and taken to a secondary crusher which is ideal for slightly smaller particle sizes

5

After that another grinding is done to make sure that the sample particles have decreased in size

6

As soon as the particle size is reduced it is passed through a ball mill several times, again, to obtain a smaller particle size

7

Subsequently the sample is passed through a flotation table to begin sorting and separating the sample components

8

When the element of interest is obtained, a concentrate of said sample comes out which is subsequently filtered

9

Later when the element of interest is filtered it begins to dry

Finally the sample is dried and with this the material of interest is obtained
