Probability Analysis

Probability Analysis

So, since you have to spin twice with a 25% chance to land on the numbers 1-4.

there are 16 outcomes in total, and there 10 outcomes that equal up to 5 or more. you will have to divide 10/16 and that will equal up to 0.625 then multiply that answer by 100 then you will end up with 62.5%. you will have a 62.5% of landing on two numbers that will get you a number that is 5 or more.

So, an average person shoots about 40% at the free throw line. to calculate your probability of winning the entire game would be to multiply the probalitity of spinning two numbers that add up to a number 5 or more (62.5%) by the average person at the free trhow line (40%). (0.62.5)(0.40)= 0.25(100)=25%

the average person has a 25% chance to win the game. so your chances are pretty bad unless your a NBA player.
