A charged flashlight (more lumens the better)

Walk the scene, key in on reflections, moving cars, people etc.

Your scene does need to be relatively inactive

Changing Settings

1. Manual Setting

2. Locate the (exposure compensation button)

  • This allows you to change several key settings to allow your camera to see what you see.
  • Quite honestly, just play with these settings.

3. Locate the self-timer button

  • allows the camera to be untouched while taking a shot.

4. Mid to low range needed, shutter speed might need to be longer

Play with your ISO and lenght of the camera taking the picture.

  • Using the timer delay, press the shutter button to initiate the picture.
  • Using your flashlight, QUICKLY flash your seen. Many times, you may not even need to if there is enough ambient light from emergency crews.
