TOO AND ENOUGH

Too and Enough

Function:

- TOO means more than wanted. The implication is always negative.

- ENOUGH means as much as wanted.

Form:

- We use TOO before an adjective.

Example: I can’t buy this CD. It’s TOO expensive.

I don’t understand this exercise. It’s TOO difficult.

- We use ENOUGH after an adjective.

Example: I can’t buy this CD. It isn’t cheap ENOUGH.

I don’t understand this exercise. It isn’t easy ENOUGH.
