On my first day in Paris, I left the Charles de Gaulle airport and I stopped by the Citadines Saint-Germain-des-Prés hotel where I would be staying for my trip. I then walked my way over to the Eiffel Tower and went to the highest floor. I learned that it took them 2 years to build (1887-1889) and it's original height was 985 feet.
I flew on Delta airlines which was $1,522 from Boston and landed at 11 A.M. The flight was almost 7 hours.
For my 8 day trip I stayed in this hotel which was $268 a night. Their service was great and so was the view.
The highlight of my second day in Paris was stopping at Cafe de Flore for lunch and I ate the Green Salad which was 8.20 euros ($9.50 in U.S.). And for dessert I ate the choclat liegois which was 15.50 euros ($17.96 in U.S.) The food was absolutely delicious and would definitely recommend!
On my third day in Paris, I decided to make my way over to the Louvre museum, which was the one of the most beautiful site's I have ever seen and been in. My favorite pieces of art were the Winged Victory of Samothrace, The Wedding Feast at Cana, and the Mona Lisa. I discovered that there are 460 works in the collections at the museum and the Louvre has existed for 8 centuries!
On my fourth day, I ate at an amazing restaurant, Le Cinq. I ordered the Spaghetti Gratin which was 130 euros ($151.09 in U.S.) and for dessert I had the iced coffee mousse which was 45 euros ($52.29 in U.S.). The food was absolutely delicious!

On the seventh day, I stopped at Berthillon that is famously known for their amazing ice cream which is in fact true! I ordered a regular chocolate ice cream and it was so good! It was 20 euros ($23.27 in U.S.). This was built in 1954.
On the last day, I visited the centre pompidou which was so cool inside and out! The building is actually done in high-tech architecture and it is a French National Cultural Centre named after France’s former president Georges Pompidou. Loved saving the best for last!
